Who are the Dog's Bakers?
We are two 6th grade girls Gina and Margret from Coppell. We make dog treats for your four legged friends. The whole idea for starting a business all started about one year ago. I was at Margret's house making dog treats for our dogs. When we were talking about how hard it is to earn money, and we thought of making a dog treat business. We went online and printed out some business cards and put them on our neighbors doors. Then we started getting orders, and before we knew it we were at the farmers market selling our dog treats. At the farmers market we met Faith Mitchell. She asked us if we would like to sell our dog treats at Bark for a Cure. We were so exited we barely could get yes out of our mouths. It took a lot of work making all those dog treats, but it was worth it. We had so much fun!Then, I got an email from Neighbors Go. They wanted to do an article on us. They interviewed us and took pictures. After the article was published we started getting so many orders. Now we are still as busy as bees. I learned when you start a business you need to make very mature decisions and it helps you become very responsible. Starting a business helps you in many things in life.
